First, the good news:

It's all good news! All is as it should be! Everything is going according to plan!
It's not my plan, and it's not your plan... but that's exactly what makes it good news. Everything is proceeding according to God's plan, and even though I don't know exactly what that is, I have every confidence that what little of it He has revealed to us, what He has promised, and each of the uncountable and unfathomable details hidden from us are right on schedule: God's schedule.  Every jot and tittle is where, every second and heartbeat is when, and every happenstance and nuance is as and what God has planned since before the beginning of time.
And today, my friends, we are exactly where God has planned for us to be.Would you want to be anywhere else?

Now for the even better news:

God's love for us is immeasurable, infinite and eternal. Do you think God would have a plan that didn't include the full expression of His love for us? I can't imagine such a thing. Having all faith and trust in God, we can be complete in knowing that God's love is working for our good exactly according to His unfailing plan.

God's want and will is for Christ to keep all that He has given Him and to raise them on the last day.

That surely sounds like good news to me!

Some may ask, "Isn't that boring? Where is the excitement of everything going as planned?"

Well more good news, He planned for that too! The things that appear to be out of control or too much to handle are all there by His design as well. This has to be the hardest thing for us all to understand, or at least keep in mind, when everything feels like it is falling apart. While it may seem that there is no light at the end of the tunnel... the truth is there is no tunnel and you are surrounded and held by The Light. This is described in the statement above "Having all faith and trust in God, we can be complete in knowing that God's love is working for our good exactly according to His unfailing plan."

Great stuff!
